The aim of a Global Ethic in the field of the dialogue of religions is contributing to a way in which religions can find a basis for dialogue and in that way become more relevant for world peace. In this regard, a Global Ethic is not a mean to itself and it is not only about the dialogue of religions, but it is a part of much greater connections, mostly in the service of world peace.
