What Are You Waiting for?’ workshop in MSS ‘Srebrenik’ in Srebrenik

On November 27, 2015 a workshop ‘What Are You Waiting For?’ was held in Srebrenik within the international campaign ’16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence’. The workshop was led by Monja Šuta-Hibert, project coordinator and Elvira Baručija, project assistant.

The young people had an opportunity to find out what violence implied and how to have zero tolerance for it. Through the segments of psycho-drama they could feel the emotional state of a victim and everything a victim was forced with (shame, stigma, non – understanding of the surroundings, not enough support, fear, etc). In the end of the workshop young people could contribute to the battle against violence, beginning with the sentence: ‘I will stop the silence and waiting by…’

The motto of this year’s campaign by TPO Foundation on the occasion of ’16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence’ is ‘What Are You Waiting for?’ i.e. why we do not stop the silence and waiting, and face with the problem of violence and show zero tolerance for it.
