THE THIRD MODULE OF TRAINING OF TRAINERS ‘GLOBAL ETHIC AT SCHOOL’

In order to establish a dialogue and scientific platform together with teachers from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, the TPO Foundation successfully organized the third training of trainers “Global Ethic at School“ in Konjic (17.- 19.03. 2017.). Unlike the previous meetings that were realized through lectures and reflections on various issues related to gender equality, social justice, human rights and peace education, participants and participants from several bh. cities had a unique opportunity to participate in interactive lectures dedicated to open issues which are related to Ecology, dialogue of religions as well as foundations in monotheistic and other world religions for ecologically conspicuous life and in dialogue.

Lecturers of the Third Module of Trainings of trainers “Global Ethic at School“ were Rijad Tikveša, President of the Association for Environmental Protection, Nature and Health EKOTIM, Dr. Nezir Halilović, representative of the Islamic Community Service in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fr. Iko Skoko Member The Franciscan Province of Hercegovina, as well as the TPO lecturer and associates mr. Alen Kristic and mr. Monja Šuta Hibert.

The first day of the training was marked by professional lectures of Rijad Tikveša who, together with participants, questioning less well-known facts and most relevant features of the ecological crisis and history of the ecological movement in the local as well as in the global context. This lecture was not only evaluated as exceptionally interesting and eloquent, but also extremely useful as all present had the opportunity to receive numerous and varied print and digital didactic audio-visual materials for teaching.

The second day of training was marked as a dynamic conversation and lectures devoted to the dialogue of religion led by Dr. Nezir Halilović and Fr. Iko Skoko. External associates and TPO lecture mr. Alen Kristic presented to all participants numerous foundations and quotes in monotheistic and other world religions for ecological awareness and encouragement of dialogue between religions. Last day of training, mr. Monja Šuta-Hibert worked with the presenters on the methodological basis and the simulation of future workshops on global ethic that will be held throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming period.
