THE SECOND SET OF MEDIA PEDAGOGY WORKSHOPS IN TUZLA

Implementation of media pedagogy workshops within the project <strong>’Prevention and Reduction of Violence at Schools'</strong> continued in Tuzla on <strong>October 19 and 20, 2016</strong>. It is one part of a three-year project implemented by <strong>TPO Foundation Sarajevo</strong> in cooperation with <strong>Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton</strong> and <strong>Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton</strong> and the very workshops are implemented in cooperation with <strong>Centre for Cultural and Media Decontamination (CKMD)</strong>.

<img src=’http://etos.ba/etoscms/tinymce/plugins/image/uploads/T2.jpg’ alt=” width=’740′ height=’417′ />The second set of one-day media pedagogy workshops was organised on October 19 and 20, 2016. 20 teachers from Tuzla Canton schools attended the workshops. The goal of workshops was to introduce teachers to the basics of film and video narration, mastering of basic techniques for using audio and video technologies required for recording of short films and videos, film genres: short documentaries and short videos so called social spot, knowing of open source programmes for montage and its elements as well as framing.

The material that arises from these workshops will also be used during this year’s international campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender based Violence.
