Panel discussion “Equality in Rights” in the Jewish Municipality of Sarajevo

On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, a panel discussion titled “Equality in Rights” was held in the Jewish Municipality of Sarajevo. The organizers of the panel are the teacher Alma Ahmethodžić, Secondary School for Textiles, Leather and Design Sarajevo, and the teacher Third Gymnasium Sarajevo, Lejla Karahodžić, and they were also supported by Business and Trade and Commercial School Sarajevo (teacher Medina Fazlić), Secondary Medical school Sarajevo, Gymnasium Obala Sarajevo as well as teacher Esad Karahodžić. The panelists were students and through their presentations they talked about human rights, including labor and gender rights. The following students participated:

The panel discussion was opened by the students of the Secondary Medical School: Emina Kršlak and Ines Kurić, and closed by the students of the Secondary School for Textiles, Leather and Design: Ajla Čehić and Elma Turčalo. Student Ajla presented several messages from holy books that promote respect for human rights. In addition to the sent messages, student Elma Turčalo painted a drawing that also promotes equality in the rights of all citizens regardless of diversity. The students concluded: regardless of differences, we all equally enjoy the rights given to us by both religious and legal norms, acts and documents.
