SECOND WORKSHOP OF GLOBAL ETHIC PROGRAM FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN ZENICA-DOBOJ CANTON

Second workshop “<strong>Global Ethic in school</strong>’’ for Zenica-Doboj Canton was held in May 13 and 14, 2017 in Zenica. It is part of the project “<strong>A Global Ethic in a School: Integrating a Global Ethic into Educational Structures and Processes in Bosnia-Herzegovina</strong>’’. A <strong>TPO team</strong> from Sarajevo – <strong>Alen Krstić and Monja Šuta-Hilbert</strong> – together with guest <strong>ph.d. Nezir Halilović</strong> presented project of global ethic, methodology and importance of its integration in B&H educational system. It was also the last workshop of global ethic for primary school teachers in 2017/2018 school year and conclusion of this very important educational cycle which by now included all primary and secondary schools from Sarajevo Canton, Tuzla Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Zenica-Doboj Canton.

TPO Foundation has made efforts to successfully integrate various educational materials of global ethic in schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to promote teaching about ethics in the B&H educational system. Last workshop “Global Ethic in School” has been held in Zenica, May 13 and 14, 2017. Teachers from different areas had the opportunity to get to know term and concept of global ethic which is based on ethical and interreligious dimension. In this occasion, all participants were introduced to Ethos initiative as well as on-line platform <a href=’/’><strong>etos.ba</strong></a>. That platform is currently gathering over 500 teachers that are familiar with many didactically materials and on-line tools relevant for integrating global ethic in different educational and pedagogical aspects.
