With TPO Foundation’s support, the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica (UNZE) marked the campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. Mirza Džananović, an assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy, organized an educational workshop for fourth-year students of cultural studies. Ten students participated in the workshop and discussed gender stereotypes.

The workshop had three parts: in the first part, the workshop moderator held an introductory lecture on peer and gender-based violence. During the second part of the workshop, students wrote down “gender-specific” characteristics on flip-chats, which they afterwards discussed in greater detail. The moderator used Bogey FemiTeaching Comics on Stereotypes in the last part of the workshop as a stimulus for a discussion on stereotypes and discrimination examples in the private and public sphere. At the end, the students concluded there is no biological basis for ascribing different characteristics to men and women because of their gender.
