<strong>Prevention and Reduction of Violence at Schools</strong> is a three-year project implemented by <strong>TPO Foundation</strong> in cooperation <strong>Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton</strong> and <strong>Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton</strong>. The action plan and pedagogical-preventive measures against violence at schools were set up after the process of strategical planning. The first activities within this project are media pedagogy workshops whose aim is to encourage teachers for using audio-visual materials and their individual creating. The second set of media pedagogy workshops was organised in <strong>Mostar</strong> on <strong>November 03 and 07, 2016</strong> in cooperation with <strong>Centre for Cultural and Media Decontamination</strong>.

The goal of the abovementioned workshops is to introduce teachers to the basics of film and video narration, mastering of basic techniques of use when it comes to audio and video technologies needed for filming short films and videos, film genres such as short documentaries and short videos, so-called ‘social spot’, knowing open source programmes intended for montage as well as basics of framing and montage.

Films made on these workshops will be used during the international campaign ’16 Days of Activism against Gender based Violence’ as well as for the future ventures when it comes to violence at schools and society in general.
