Although the city of Mostar is considered as one of the most divided cities by ethnicity, students and teachers of the High School of Civil Engineering in Mostar have overshadowed this fact by spreading ETOS values. The TPO Foundation team consisting of project coordinators Amina Mašić and Azra Nezirić was visiting this school on 27 February 2020 to discuss their four-year ETOS commitment, which is also a step up to certification for the Ethos School.
Sanela Mesihović, the principal, emphasized that the Ethos Initiative is extremely important in their school and is pervaded in all subjects, but in different ways. The teaching staff pointed out that sometimes they have problems with students regarding their grades and that they would like them to learn more, but that they have no problems with students' behavior and are proud of them for their empathy, nurture, tolerance, humanity, understanding of the Other, friendships in and out of school. They all agreed that these values are much more important in living life.
