The penultimate Socrates coffee of this year was held on Wednesday (December 8, 2021) in Coffee Time in Tuzla. Participants talked to the facilitator Amel Jusufović on the topic “Gender Equality”. They wondered, among other things, how much gender inequality is actually learned behavior, and whether and to what extent gender equality is possible. The participants once again confirmed that the concept of Socrates’ cafes is extremely interesting to them, and they are looking forward to future similar meetings. The general conclusion of the meeting was that gender inequality harms everyone, and that the task of all of us is to promote gender equality and equal opportunities in all fields through dialogue and empowerment.
On Monday (December 13th), the last Socrates Cafe of this year will be held in Tuzla, with facilitator Dina Bajrektarević, on the topic “Gender-Based Violence”.
