Project named "My Inner World", being part of the Etos Initiative which TPO Foundation runs, lasted from August to November 2019. The project coordinator was Berminka Hrelja, a pedagogue at the Industrial School Center, Sarajevo. The main objective of the project: Helping young people to see themselved in a different light to understand the problems they face and to get to know themselves through getting to know others. The target group were the students of the Industrial School Center and the Secondary Vocational Education and Training School, aged 14-19, who are students with learning and self-management difficulties.
The aim of the project was to connect different students' types and different age range within two mentioned schools. That was achieved with significant cohesion within the group of 30 members. The project leaders meet the students with the differencies and the reduction of stigma and prejudices. The project coordinators helped students to improve their peer communication and by doing so to make them not to avoid school as often as it is practice. The consequences were developing a sense of responsibility and structuring time, and experiencing a teacher position. Positive reactions were obtained from parents of the children included in the project. School and parents developed partnership. The problem the project participants had was to free themselves from talking about themselves in the presence of<span style=’font-family:"Arial",sans-serif’> teachers and other students.
